Leadership
An accomplished leader. Ken has built successful teams in education, government and technology fields by helping people overcome challenges to achieve their goals.
Ken has held a number of senior executive leadership roles in public
and independent organisations including at SCEGGS Darlinghurst and the
NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Senior roles include CIO,
Director ICT, Director PMO and Founder.
He has delivered leadership programs, and has mentored many professionals in technology and education settings over the years.
Education
Ken has worked extensively across education from STEM teaching to senior leadership roles. Ken has taught Software and Computing, Electronics, Design, Technology and Mathematics.
Ken assists Macquarie University in the development of course content for their under and post graduate teacher education programs.
Ken has designed and implemented risk awareness education programs to adults and students. He has also participated in the creation and maintenance of risk management systems including on Audit and Risk Committees (financial), Senior Executive teams, WHS teams and technology teams.
Technology and Risk
Ken has built and delivered high volume, time sensitive web applications, mitigated DDoS attacks, coded in many languages, achieved ISO27001 certifications, migrated between data centers, private and public cloud, managed large laptop programs, developed and deployed risk-based approaches to service delivery and much more.
